Performance Where Weight and Environment Matter
PEEK is evaluated for aerospace brackets, fluid-handling parts, clips, insulators, wear components and manufacturing fixtures because it combines low density with mechanical, thermal and chemical performance. It can reduce mass compared with some metal designs, but any weight-saving percentage depends on the geometry, load case and material being replaced.
Grade Selection
Unfilled PEEK provides balanced toughness and insulation. GF30 increases stiffness and dimensional stability for structural components. CF30 provides the highest stiffness of the three core grades but is conductive and less ductile. The correct choice depends on load direction, temperature, vibration, fluids, fire requirements and inspection criteria.
Qualification Is Project-Specific
GUNUOFENG does not claim AS9100 certification or aerospace approval. Website content and typical property tables do not qualify a material for flight. Send the drawing, applicable specification, material designation, traceability requirement, inspection plan and order quantity. We will state what stock, machining and documentation can be offered and where a requirement cannot be met.
Prototype machining may support early fit and design evaluation. Production approval remains the buyer’s responsibility under the applicable aerospace quality process.
